Electronic Laboratory Results
Currently Practice Manager is able to receive laboratory results electronically from The Doctors Laboratory, The London Clinic and now HCA Healthcare.
There are massive benefits linked to this module especially for those who have to deal with a high volume of specimens. Some of the main benefits seem to be how much easier it is to create a comprehensive and easy to read request form directly from Practice Manager which both increases the turn around speed of your results and reduces the risk of errors occurring at either end. Making use of this module also gives you the ability to track results which have been requested and to instantly view the results on your computer without the need to scan them into your computer, Thus greatly reducing the amount of paperwork floating around the office and gives it the unique ability to both highlight any abnormal results and allows you to graph a patients results over a period of time.
